An apartment for a restaurateur who wanted to host guests in the izakaya format.
The main work was built around the layout itself. The kitchen-living room has a large load-bearing column, and we made it a focal point: it is clad in milled wood, and the sofa follows its contour. The interior combines travertine, wood and small-format tile, with an emphasis on working with materials and texture. Above the bar is a lightbox made of Japanese paper with several lighting scenarios.
At the client's request, the master bedroom is done in dark tones. Even in a small apartment, the owner has a zone of their own: a bedroom, a spacious walk-through dressing room with an island, and a master bathroom.
