Interior of a 1,200 m² house in Portugal. Continuing the light, open architecture of Hueb Ferreira, we created a calm space connected to the surrounding landscape. A neutral base is complemented by rich orange, burgundy, and soft pink tones, giving the private areas their own distinct character.
The main task was to continue the architectural concept and preserve the sense of lightness, openness and close connection with the surrounding landscape. This became especially important on the first floor: thanks to panoramic glazing, the living room, corridors and communal spaces are visible from outside and become part of the house's overall image.
The interior is built on a calm neutral palette, clean geometry and restrained forms that do not compete with the architecture. At the same time, we sought to avoid excessive severity and gave the space a warmer, more lively character.
On the second floor, the interior becomes bolder and more emotional. Orange, deep burgundy and soft pink tones form expressive color accents and give the private spaces their own individuality. The basement level has a more intimate atmosphere and brings together various scenarios for relaxation.
The client's trust and the freedom we were given allowed us to build a cohesive interior in which architectural restraint is combined with rich color, expressive details and an individual character.
